Junior High Science & Social Studies Teacher (Grades 6–8)
Position Type: Full-Time
About the Role: Corryville Catholic School is seeking a dynamic and engaging Junior High Science & Social Studies Teacher to inspire students in grades 6–8. This teacher will foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of the world through rigorous, student-centered instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

● Deliver engaging lessons aligned to Science and Social Studies standards
● Build strong classroom culture rooted in respect, structure, and high expectations
● Use data to drive instruction and support student growth
● Incorporate hands-on learning, discussion, and inquiry-based strategies
● Establish and maintain a safe, structured, respectful, and academically focused learning environment
● Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
● Valid teaching license (or ability to obtain)
● Experience teaching middle school preferred
● Strong classroom management and instructional skills
● Passion for working in a mission-driven school community Ideal Candidate
