Grades 6-8: Teacher/Full-Time:  Nativity School, a ministry of the Crescent Family of Parishes, is located in the Pleasant Ridge neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio.  We’re a private, Catholic school with a student-body that is diverse, racially and economically.

Role Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Grades 6-8 Social Studies Teacher to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of middle school-aged students, a comprehensive knowledge of social studies subjects, and the ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that foster critical engagement.  The Social Studies Teacher will also collaborate with other teachers and participate in school events.  This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Studies, or a related field
• Valid teaching license or certification
• Experience teaching social studiesat the middle school level
• Passion for working with middle school students and fostering their curiosity and love for social studies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and assessments
• Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the needs of students and the school

Compensation

• Pay depends on experience and whether the candidate has a Masters degree
