Deacons Survey

2026 Submission

The deacon community of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati makes significant contributions to spiritual and corporal needs of the faithful in the Archdiocese. But the ministry of the deacon may at times go unnoticed. It is important to recognize the impact deacons make in the life of the Church and the lives of our brothers and sisters.

In order to collect accurate and comprehensive data on our ministry, the Office of the Diaconate is conducting this 2026 Deacon Ministry Survey.

When you have gathered the information which I referenced in the email sent out earlier, please click below to access the online survey. Remember, you will need to complete the survey all at once – you cannot enter some data and then come back later to complete it.

The survey will run from January 10 through January 23, 2026.

Please see the other questions below for more information. And then, go ahead and give us your data! Your contribution to our survey is very important. Thank you for taking the time to complete it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please enter data for the calendar year 2025.

If you have your data collected, it should only take about 15 minutes to enter the data. You should try to compile the data in advance, as indicated in the email that was sent out previously.

All Active and Senior Status deacons who are currently residing in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. We want to gather data that impacts our Archdiocese, so ministry hours or events provided outside of the Archdiocese should not be reported.

Some deacons are employed in a job that taps into our ministry as a deacon. But in this survey, we are trying to determine our voluntary ministry hours. So please, as best as possible, do not report ministry for which you are being paid as a result of your employment.

Please do not include the time it takes for you to get to and from any ministry in which you are involved. There is a separate question on number of hours of driving time near the end of the survey.

It is ok to simply leave any question blank that may not apply to you.
