Please join us for a Mass for those who have lost loved ones to suicide at 10AM at the Cathedral Basilica St. Peter in Chains with Archbishop Robert Casey. The Mass serves to remember loved ones lost to suicide and to promote healing for those who grieve their passing.
Prior to Mass, those attending will be invited to place candles up front in remembrance of those lost, that you may take home with you. This ritual is a way to acknowledge and remember those who have died by suicide and to symbolize our commending them to God’s love, mercy, and care. It will be followed by a brief reception where you may learn more about our Mental Wellness Ministry in parish families across the Archdiocese.
