DESCRIPTION:Are you a teacher of grades 3-6 who loves to find new books for your students to enjoy? Join other middle grade teachers virtually to read and discuss children’s books. We’ll meet on the first Tuesday of the month. Each month\, we’ll focus on one middle grade novel to read and discuss. Teachers will be able to consider the learning each novel offers students. The selected title will be shared with participants one month before each meetup. We’ll read the book in its entirety before the meeting. DESCRIPTION: The SWOCTM Mini-Conference is a morning full of passion\, excitement and joy and that is the reason that this year’s mini-conference is going to be more important than ever.  It has been a tough couple of years for educators and SWOCTM wants to get back to providing an event for educators to connect\, collaborate and celebrate!  We hope you will join us! \n Registration for the mini-conference is now open!  Registration for the conference is $23 which includes a light breakfast\, a catered lunch and a morning full of learning and connecting with fellow math educators.  We are limiting attendance this year due to the current health situation\, so register early to guarantee your spot!\nRegistration is open until February 18th\, 2022.   \nREGISTER \n IMPORTANT: We realize that this event will bring together important educators from throughout this region.  In order to protect the health and safety of this community\, we are asking that you please wear a mask for this event.  As well\, we will be taking steps to space out during the lunch and to provide simple contact tracing after the event.  If at any point prior to February 18th\, your comfort level with attending changes\, please let us know and we will refund your registration fee.
