DESCRIPTION:The Southeast Region\, St. Mary Deanery\, and the Catholic Social Action Office are offering a day long retreat “Mass-Misa-Mission: The Eucharist as the Source of all Mission” on Saturday September 13th from 9:30am-4:00pm\, (Sunday liturgy included). The retreat will be held at The Dragonfly Village (previously known as Chatfield Edge or the Ursulines of Brown County) 20918 St. Rte.251\, St Martin\, OH 45118. Fr. Steve Pawelk of Glenmary Home Missioners will lead the retreat. (The Glenmary community had its beginning in the Southeast region and served parishes there for several decades.) DESCRIPTION:The St. Charles Center in Carthagena is hosting the exhibit\, The Randolph Freedpeople: from Slavery to Settlement. The Archdiocesan Anti-Racism Task Force and partners are hosting a pilgrimage to view the exhibit\, as well visiting the Black cemetery at neighboring St. Aloysius Parish and celebrating mass (4pm). \nAnyone middle school and above is encouraged to attend\, and there will be light refreshments following mass where folks can continue the conversation.
