DESCRIPTION:The Depolarizing Within Workshop is a free workshop with Braver Angels that helps participants look within to see how they are engaging or participating in polarizing ways. The workshop offers participants the tools to develop strategies for engaging in political discussion without demonizing the other side. It also shows how to constructively intervene in social conversations with like-minded peers. \nThis workshop is designed to foster skills to recognize and lessen the effects of polarization when encountered within political conversations with your like-minded circle. When referring to “polarization\,” Braver Angels is not referring to healthy disagreements over issues or philosophy. DESCRIPTION:St. Luke Parish\, along with the St. Michael the Archangel Parish family\, invite you to participate in a Eucharistic procession on September 14th at 9am from St. Charles Church\, 4500 Ackerman Blvd. Kettering\, to the Women’s Center at 1401 E. Stroop Rd. Together\, we will pray and adore the Blessed Sacrament for an end to abortion in our community. \nThe walking distance is 1.2 miles. You are welcome to join us for the entire walk\, part of the way\, or meet us at the Women’s Center for prayers on the corner of Vinyard and Stroop Rd. Following the procession we invite you to join us at Woodland Cemetery to pray for the victims of abortion at 11am–if needed we will delay the start for 15 minutes or so to allow for folks to travel from the Kettering event. \nLet us unite in prayer and witness to the sanctity of life.
