DESCRIPTION:Research shows that an appropriate level of rigor is critical for students’ academic growth and success\, especially in developing problem-solving\, complex thinking\, decision making\, and critical thinking skills.  Participants who attend this session will have the opportunity to examine and apply the Depth of Knowledge levels of rigor to the assignments and assessments that they use with students.  Concepts like productive struggle and engaging students at the right level of rigor will also be explored.  \nObjectives: \n\nExamine and integrate Webb’s Depth of Knowledge framework\nCreate rigorous assignments that involve problem solving\,  complex thinking\, decision making\, and critical thinking\nIncrease classroom engagement by integrating productive struggle and increasing the rigor of work\n\nREGISTER
