DESCRIPTION:Demonstrate understanding of the crisis development model and application of this in the school setting.\nDemonstrate understanding of the verbal escalation continuum and appropriate interventions for each level.\nDemonstrate physical competence with disengagement and holding skills.\nDemonstrate understanding of post-crisis techniques.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nImportant Session Information:\nFull day training that will meet requirements as an initial or refresher for any staff members needing CPI certification. Mark was falsely charged with felony violations and faced 11 years in federal prison and $350\,000 in fines for his sidewalk counseling and for defending his 12 year-old son from an aggressive abortion escort. Mark was acquitted on all charges on January 30\, 2023. \nAs a result of his pro-life work\, Mark was the recipient of the Cardinal John O’Connor Defender of Life Award (Legatus 2022).
