PreK-Grade 6: After School Care Monitors/Part-Time: Romero Academy at Annunciation is seeking passionate, mission-driven individuals to join our team as After School Care Monitors.  Hours are from 2:45pm to 5:30pm on Mondays.  The primary responsibilities of an After School Care Monitor include: Monitoring a group of 12-18 students while supporting homework completion, quiet play, and literacy tutoring; Facilitating a calm and effective dismissal process, where each child is released to the correct adult; Creating and maintaining a learning environment where every scholar feels safe, loved, and inspired to learn and grow; Supporting a school culture focused on faith, academic achievement, and character development; Develop meaningful relationships with students and parents that drive students to love learning and make exceptional academic gains.  The ideal candidate will have: at minimum, a high school diploma, and a desire to help students grow in faith, virtue, and intellect; A passion for being a part of a team-oriented, mission-driven school culture; The ability to be flexible in a fast-paced school environment that is responsive to students’ needs.
