Position Overview
Mount Notre Dame High School (MND), the premier all-girls Catholic high school in Cincinnati, seeks a relational, energetic, and mission-driven Alumnae Engagement Coordinator to deepen lifelong relationships between the school and its more than 11,000 alumnae. This role leads efforts to foster alumnae affinity, philanthropic support, volunteer involvement, and meaningful connection to the MND sisterhood.
As a key member of the Development Team, the Alumnae Engagement Coordinator will oversee alumnae programming, manage alumnae-specific communications, steward a portfolio of alumnae donors, and serve as a bridge between generations of MND women. This role also supports school-wide advancement initiatives and collaborates regularly with the Admissions and Marketing & Communications teams.
Key Responsibilities
Alumnae Engagement & Philanthropy
Lead and grow the alumnae committee – partner with the committee leadership to host alumnae programming, with a focus on mission and connection.
Develop and implement strategies to increase alumnae philanthropic participation including through our Annual Fund, Sponsorship, Events opportunities and more.
Manage a portfolio of alumnae donors, conducting regular outreach and stewardship to deepen donor engagement and support.
Collaborate with the Director of Development and Annual Fund Manager to execute donor acquisition and retention strategies, including reunion and milestone giving efforts.
Signature Events & Volunteer Engagement
Plan and execute signature alumnae events, including but not limited to:
Alumnae Summer Soirée
Golden Guild Induction (50-Year Reunion)
Alumnae Awards Celebration
Billiart Scholars Speaker Series
Class Reunions & Legacy Family Celebrations
Holiday celebrations: Halloween Hallways, Breakfast with Santa, and Easter Eggstravaganza
Support the Alumnae Committee and work with committee leadership to strengthen class identity and build volunteer leadership.
Explore and implement new event ideas to foster meaningful cross-generational engagement.
Communications & Outreach
Develop and manage a year-round communications plan tailored to alumnae, including:
Monthly e-newsletters
Social media content (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
Alumnae spotlights, class notes, and milestone updates
Collaborate with marketing team and others to create content for MND’s Developments Magazine (twice per year)
Maintain accurate and updated alumnae records in the school’s CRM (Raiser’s Edge or similar).
School & Community Presence
Attend and participate in on-campus events (e.g., Masses, athletic signings, student showcases) to stay informed and serve as a storyteller for MND.
Cultivate a visible and warm presence within the MND community—students, faculty, families, and alumnae.
Travel locally and occasionally out of state for alumnae gatherings (“MND On-the-Move” events).
Collaboration & Strategy
Serve as a key thought partner to the Director of Development in setting annual performance goals, refining strategy, and reporting on outcomes.
Attend weekly Development Team meetings and Weekly one-on-ones with the Director of Development to review progress, plan, and share insights.
Collaborate with the Admissions and Marketing teams to ensure aligned messaging and strategic outreach.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required (communications, public relations, nonprofit management, or related fields preferred)
2–3+ years of experience in alumnae relations, fundraising, or advancement (school or nonprofit setting preferred)
Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Experience with CRM databases (e.g., Raiser’s Edge) and communications tools (Canva, email platforms, LinkedIn, etc.)
Ability to travel locally and work evenings/weekends as needed
MND alumna preferred but not required
