St. Gabriel Parish (Glendale), a member of the Tri-County Catholic family is currently seeking a part-time (20-25 hours per week) music minister, with a possibility to move into a full-time position.

Primary responsibilities are to play for the three weekend liturgies, -Saturday 5 p.m., Sunday 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.- and conduct one weekly choir rehearsal with cantors and other musicians. Currently there is a small choir which sings for the 10:00 am Mass. Depending on availability, responsibility could include, playing occasional funerals and weddings

The candidate must have a proficiency in organ, (the main instrument) piano and voice, with knowledge of the Catholic liturgy and good pastoral skills. The successful candidate is a team person working with small staff members of the parish, as well as others in our parish family.

Salary and benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.

St. Gabriel has a 3-manual 6- rank Wicks pipe organ with walker digital stops equivalent to 36-40 ranks. It was built in 2004. Both the organ and upright piano are in the choir loft.
