The Blessed Trinity Family of Corpus Christi, St. John Neumann, and St. John the Baptist, Dry Ridge Parishes, Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a full time Associate Director of Youth Evangelization. Our youth today are being led astray by the broader culture. Many are left wandering, searching, and with low self-esteem, but we have the answer! Divine Truth and a relationship with our Lord are the only things that satisfies human longing. The Associate Director is an enthusiastic, self-starter who loves teaching, leading large and small groups, engaging with teens and sharing Christ with others. This person accompanies youth, grades 6-12, and their families through a discipleship path, so that they encounter Jesus and become missionary disciples.
We are building a culture to fulfill a Catholic vision of work that nourishes and strengthens our personal relationship with Christ, so we can go out and lead others. We offer Mass daily, 48 hours of Eucharistic Adoration every week, opportunities for prayer throughout the day in our chapel and a growing number of retreat opportunities. Responsibilities include:
- Leading Sacramental Preparation for Confirmation
- Planning & facilitating year-round evangelization initiatives to youth and their families
- Coordinating programs with the Parish Family School
- other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Complete and maintain SafeParish training and background check.
- Be willing to attain a Professional Catechist with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
Qualifications:
- Strongly prefer a BA in Pastoral Ministry, Religious Studies, Theology, Religion Education, or related field or commensurate ministry experience.
- Must have a broad understanding of, and ability to articulate, Church teaching.
- Must have a dedicated personal prayer life, be in love with our Lord in the Eucharist and actively living their Catholic Faith.
