The University of Dayton Campus Ministry seeks to welcome a Campus Minister for Neighborhood and Retreats to our dynamic ministry team. Pursue your vocation in ministry with one of the largest ministry teams in Catholic higher education while creatively developing and implementing opportunities for spiritual growth, evangelization, outreach and pastoral accompaniment. Inspired by our Catholic Marianist charism, the ideal candidate will exhibit a spirit of hospitality and be a catalyst who invites young adults into faith communities that are both gathered and sent in discipleship. Ideal candidates will also invite students to transformative relationships with God and one another as they pursue their vocations. We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience provided you meet minimum qualifications and display skills necessary to succeed in this ministry.

Ministry is primarily among upper division students who live in the student neighborhood on campus. Develops and coordinates student leadership for retreats, creates community-building and faith development activities and resources, and fosters faith-based student leadership development among a diverse student body. Supervises student workers, responds to students in crisis and provides ongoing pastoral care for students.

This is a full-time, 10-month exempt position with full benefits including healthcare, employee and dependent tuition remission, schedule flexibility to accommodate some late night/weekend ministry, professional development, matching retirement contributions, and more. The minister in this role does NOT live in campus housing. Apply at: https://employment.udayton.edu/en-us/job/500581/campus-minister-for-neighborhood-ministry-and-retreats. Deadline to submit is January 18, when application review will begin.
