St. Pius X Catholic Church in Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking Director of Evangelization and Discipleship to provide coordination, formation, implementation, and direction of evangelization efforts in the parish and school community. The Director of Evangelization and Discipleship shepherds the overall vision for evangelization and faith formation. The goals of the position include fostering conversion and growth in discipleship among the faithful, developing a welcoming community, and moving and equipping parishioners to evangelize by witness, word, and action. The Director of Evangelization leads the Evangelization Team, which is responsible for creating, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive strategy and implementation for evangelization. To lead the parishes’ Evangelization and School teams into effective evangelization, which includes the teams from faith formation, school, youth and young adult, music and liturgy, and sacramental preparation.
