The Eastside Family of Parishes (St. Cecilia and St. Mary Hyde Park) is seeking a faith‑driven, mission‑focused Director of Evangelization to lead our evangelization and catechetical ministries. This role guides the vision, development, and daily operations of the Office of Catechesis and Evangelization, helping parishioners grow as disciples and strengthening our outreach to the wider community.

About the Role

The Director oversees all evangelization and formation initiatives, supervises ministry coordinators, and collaborates closely with the Pastor as part of the Pastoral Leadership Team.  Key responsibilities include directing parish formation programs, managing the discipleship pathway, and coordinating digital partnerships such as Hallow and Formed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Office of Catechesis and Evangelization and supervise ministry staff
• Guide parish formation programs, seasonal offerings, and pilgrimages
• Oversee outreach efforts rooted in the corporal and spiritual works of mercy
• Manage office goals, budget, and strategic planning
• Serve on the Pastoral Leadership Team and collaborate with the Pastor

Qualifications

• Degree in Theology or equivalent formal formation
• At least three years of parish experience in catechesis or evangelization
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• A collaborative spirit and a strong personal prayer life
• Availability for some evening and weekend ministry
