Subject(s) / Additional Information: OptimALL Services is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Early Childhood Intervention Specialist (ECIS) for the 2026–2027 school year at St. Lawrence School.

OptimALL Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Catholic schools serve the needs of ALL learners. Since 2016, OptimALL has partnered with 45 Catholic schools in the Greater Cincinnati area, supporting inclusive, faith-centered education for students with diverse learning needs.

Basic Function
The Early Childhood Intervention Specialist provides specially designed instruction to students funded through the Jon Peterson and Autism Scholarships. The ECIS works collaboratively with teachers, families, and service providers to develop objective, measurable goals and determine appropriate accommodations and interventions for students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education
Must hold an Early Childhood Intervention License
Valid Ohio teaching certificate or license
Successful completion of required criminal background checks
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to generate, record, and maintain student data
Ability to administer and interpret standardized assessments
Knowledge of the Ohio Department of Education Model Curriculum and Ohio’s Learning Standards
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of student records and school business

Responsibilities
Demonstrate knowledge of Early Childhood Special Education laws, policies, and regulations
Provide specially designed instruction to assigned students
Collaborate with teachers and service providers to develop individualized, objective, and measurable IEP goals
Determine and support appropriate classroom accommodations and interventions
Complete IEP progress reports for students on assigned caseload
Attend IEP, IAT, and other meetings as required
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, families, staff, and service providers
Maintain professional conduct and dress
Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director
