Grades 9-12: 75% English Teacher – 25% Daily Building Sub/Full-Time: Saint Ursula Academy, located in East Walnut Hills, is a Catholic, college-preparatory, secondary school for young women, started by the Ursuline Sisters of Cincinnati.

Saint Ursula Academy is searching for an experienced, qualified high school English teacher to join our team during the 2025-2026 school year.  The ideal candidate would have the ability to teach the college preparatory level of English in grades 9-12, but the anticipated teaching assignment for this position next school year is American Literature, a chronological survey course taught at the sophomore level.

Saint Ursula Academy is a strong academic community, so the ideal candidate will not only possess a passion for the learning process but also be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of various strategies and techniques that will support the diverse needs of our student body. The candidate must follow the curriculum designed by senior members of the department and be well versed in using technology in daily lessons.  In addition to the 75% teaching load in the English department, this position will also spend 25% of its time providing substitute coverage across the school building.

A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in English is required, and relevant licensure for teaching grades 9-12 is preferred. In addition, full-time teaching experience in a high school is preferred.

Tuition remission is provided for the employee’s daughter(s) attending Saint Ursula Academy incrementally up to 100% (after 5 years of service).
