About the Role:
Corryville Catholic is looking for a dedicated First Grade Teacher who is passionate about literacy development and building strong academic habits. This role is critical in ensuring students transition from learning to read into reading to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver rigorous instruction in reading, writing, and math
• Use phonics and structured literacy approaches to support reading growth
• Build a positive and structured classroom culture
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Track and communicate student progress regularly

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education
• Valid teaching license
• Strong background in early literacy instruction (Science of Reading preferred)
• Ability to build strong classroom systems and routines
• Commitment to high expectations and student growth
