Kindergarten or Grade 1 Teacher/Full-Time: St. Bernadette School is seeking a licensed, dynamic teacher to teach either kindergarten or first grade as we expand our classrooms.  Responsibilities include teaching a full core curriculum to 14-18 students, communicating with parents, collaborating with the rest of the primary team, and developing a students’ love of learning.  Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, creative and passionate about teaching children in their formative years.  Knowledge of a variety of instructional strategies, differentiated learning, and the ability to use data to inform teaching is required.  Successful candidates must be prepared to create engaging lessons, be confident in communication skills with students, staff, and parents, and demonstrate- skills and strategies for classroom management.  Qualified candidates must hold a valid Ohio Teaching Certificate or be in the final stages of acquiring one; all candidates will be required to have current background checks and become certified in the SafeParish program.
