Grades 5-8: Teacher/Full-Time: St. Bernadette is moving to a departmental model for math and science to include fifth grade in the rotation with grades 6-8.  We are seeking a positive and enthusiastic teacher qualified for math in grades 5-8, as well as two sections of science.  Expectations include: develop engaging lessons; integrate STEAM activities in class or in after school opportunities; differentiate instruction to provide pathways to mastery in math; maintain a cooperative and respectful learning environment; moderate the science fair and/or robotics club; and communicate with parents, students, and colleagues effectively.  Successful candidates will have strong classroom management skills and champion STEM skills in all students.  All employees must pass a background check and be certified in SafeParish prior to starting.  Candidates must possess an Ohio teaching license or be in the final stages of acquiring one.  Salary is commensurate depending on years of experience.
