Grades 9-12: Intervention Specialist/Full-Time: McNicholas High School is seeking an Intervention Specialist for the S.A.I.L. Program (Support and Accommodations for Identified Learners).  Candidates must hold a Special Education certification/licensure.  The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, acting as case manager, serving as liaison between student, classroom teachers, guidance, school psychologist, and parents, reading and interpreting data from multi-factored evaluations, as well as writing IEPs, yearly service plans, and weekly progress reports.  Candidates must possess strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal and professional skills.  The Intervention Specialist works to ensure students’ progress academically, while promoting quality instruction through interventions while maintaining close contact with teachers, administrators and families.
