Junior High Science & Social Studies Teacher (Grades 6–8)

About the Role:
Corryville Catholic School is seeking a dynamic and engaging Junior High Science & Social Studies Teacher to inspire students in grades 6–8. This teacher will foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of the world through rigorous, student-centered instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned to Science and Social Studies standards
• Build strong classroom culture rooted in respect, structure, and high expectations
• Use data to drive instruction and support student growth
• Incorporate hands-on learning, discussion, and inquiry-based strategies
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan instruction and analyze student progress
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Valid teaching license (or ability to obtain)
• Experience teaching middle school preferred
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Passion for working in a mission-driven school community
