Job Posting: Music Teacher (Shared Position)

Corryville Catholic and St. Catherine of Siena Schools are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our teams in a shared position. This role will be split between the two schools, offering the opportunity to inspire and educate students across both communities.

Position Details:

• Schools: Corryville Catholic & St. Catherine of Siena
• Schedule:
  • Mondays and Wednesdays: Corryville Catholic
  • Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: St. Catherine of Siena

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach music classes to students in grades K-8, following the respective school curricula.
• Plan and implement engaging music lessons that foster creativity, musical skills, and an appreciation for the arts.
• Prepare students for performances, concerts, and other musical events.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators to integrate music into broader school activities and traditions.
• Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or license in music (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous teaching experience preferred, especially in an elementary or middle school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Ability to collaborate with a team of educators across two schools.
