Principal Opening: Saint Agnes School

Saint Agnes School, a Catholic school serving Preschool 3s through 8th grade with 515 students, is located at 1800 Newburg Road in Louisville, Kentucky. The school is seeking a principal to begin July 1, 2026, for the 2026–2027 school year.

The principal reports directly to the Pastor and serves as the spiritual, instructional, and administrative leader of the school. This role works in close partnership with parish leadership, faculty and staff, students, and families. The principal is responsible for nurturing the school’s Catholic Identity, Governance and Leadership, Academic Excellence, and Operational Vitality while supporting faculty and staff, partnering with parents, and cultivating a welcoming, mission-driven school culture.

Qualifications include:

• Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church
• Master’s degree in educational administration or working toward an Administrative Certificate
• At least five years of successful teaching experience
• At least two to three years of previous administrative or leadership experience in a school setting
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Passion for children and education
• Excellent communication skills marked by transparency, consistency, and respect
