St. Denis Parish is seeking a part-time or full-time Youth Ministry Coordinator.

Are you energetic and desire to share your Catholic faith with junior high and high school students?   Want to bring teens closer to Christ?  Experienced with evangelization initiatives such as small groups, bible studies, devotional prayer experiences, Holy Hour, celebrations of feast days, retreats, etc.?  Please consider joining our family of parishes!

What is the time commitment?  Part time position would be minimum 5 hours per week (Wednesdays) and some weeks would be 19 hours, depending on the activity planned. Currently, Youth Ministry at St. Denis meets every Wednesday evening.   Looking for a full time position?  The right candidate would be considered for a full time position and would work with the other churches in our family of parishes.

In addition to Wednesday evenings, the YMC would work some weekends for retreats, youth events (such a laser tag, snow tubing, kayaking, etc) and fundraisers.

Candidates must have spiritual maturity, be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church who is faithful to the Magisterium, consistent in one’s prayer life, regularly attending Mass and receiving the sacraments, and able to speak of one’s relationship with Jesus. Must have a broad understanding of and ability to articulate Church teaching regarding evangelization, catechesis, prayer, sacraments and ecclesiology.  Must be able to pray in front of and with others, to lead and participate in spontaneous prayer, communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, both one-on-one coaching and mentoring situations and in large group settings.

Competitive compensation package commensurate with qualifications and experience.
