When do I give my students a “1-2-3” on the report card? What skills do my students need to be proficient and receive a “3” on the report card?  How many times do I assess that standard/skill? What do these assessments look like?  We invite all primary teachers to join us for a collaborative day focused on reviewing and refining our proficiency scales. These scales\, based on the standards in the graded course of study\, are essential tools for measuring student progress and guiding instruction.
