Crisis Response Management: Proactive Planning & Mindful Intervention

- Understand and explore the main components to an effective crisis response protocol.
- Identify areas to strengthen both the school building plan and emotional and psychological needs of all involved.
- Practice decision making skills and response strategies within small group scenario conversation.
Important Session Information:
Join us for the morning to explore the application and practice of a well planned and clearly communicated crisis response plan. We will spend time reviewing the critical components of a sound crisis response plan: activation, assessment, support implementation, and follow-up. We will also have time to explore skills through decision-making and communication scenario-based discussions. You can’t plan a crisis the day of a crisis; we want everyone to be prepared and feel well equipped to respond.
