Please join Jill Reinhart and other primary K-3 literacy educators across Central Ohio in a virtual book study around the 6 shifts outlined by Jan Burkins and Kari Yates in their text entitled Shifting the Balance: 6 Ways to Bring the Science of Reading into the Balanced Literacy Classroom (2021). There will be 6 one-hour virtual meet ups to discuss the text and consider additional resources. Contact hours include reading and reflection outside of the sessions for a total of 10 contact hours.
