Demonstrate understanding of the crisis development model and application of this in the school setting.
Demonstrate understanding of the verbal escalation continuum and appropriate interventions for each level.
Demonstrate physical competence with disengagement and holding skills.
Demonstrate understanding of post-crisis techniques.
Important Session Information:
Full day training that will meet requirements as an initial or refresher for any staff members needing CPI certification. Certification is good for one calendar year from date of training. This training will cover all modules, including verbal de-escalation, disengagement techniques, and holding skills.
