The 2021–2022 school year will be a year like no other, with big challenges but also an opportunity to come back better than before the pandemic. This is a great time for educators to look at school culture and ask, “How can we create a culture of kindness in our schools so that all kids feel welcomed and included?” There’s a large body of research on bullying behaviors and strategies schools can use to reduce bullying.

In this edWebinar, attendees will:

  • Review the research on bullying prevention and how social-emotional learning can help
  • Discover tangible practices schools can implement to help create an environment where all kids thrive
  • Learn about the Committee for Children’s free SEL resources as well as the Second Step® Bullying Prevention Unit, a cost-effective program to help educators prevent bullying throughout their schools

This edWebinar will be of interest to K-5 teachers and school and district leaders. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
