English Learners: Culturally Responsive Practices

This one-hour, online session shares ideas on how to make a school or classroom a safe and welcoming environment for English learners to succeed academically. We will examine culture and explain how culture can affect learning and behavior. Tips will be shared to build a school culture of diversity where all students feel safe and accepted. Intended audience includes EL teachers, content and general education teachers, coordinators and administrators.
