About the Presenters
Dr. Nina Price is a mom of two beautiful girls, two handsome boys, and one sweet dog. Her professional career as an educator spans over 16 years, as an elementary classroom teacher, assistant principal, principal, central office, and most notably, a small business owner of a private school for virtual learners. Dr. Price currently serves as a manager of professional services at Teachstone. She graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a BS in psychology and the University of Texas at Arlington with a master’s and Ph.D. in educational leadership and policy studies. Dr. Price is laser focused on maximizing instructional time that allows teachers, coaches, and students to realize their full potential, which is paramount to a successful learning environment.
Becky Danis started her teaching career as a middle and elementary school special education teacher, where she made connecting with her students a top priority. Before coming to Teachstone, Becky worked as both a preschool teacher, working with children ages 2 to 5, and as a coach and CLASS observer for teachers working with children from 0 to 5. During this time, she used CLASS to help herself and others make informed decisions about classroom interactions. Regardless of her role—teacher, coach, observer, trainer—what Becky enjoys most is getting to see and experience the world through the fresh, curious minds of new learners. In her role as Responsive Solutions Developer at Teachstone, Becky is bringing that joy for learning to the creation of new products to help convey the message that interactions matter, now more than ever.
