Coaching from Master Teachers
Each participant is assigned to a Master Teacher who provides one-to-one coaching and feedback on the creation and teaching of 16 lesson plans custom-tailored for the student the participant is tutoring during the course. Courses are facilitated by master teachers to help participants learn to design and implement explicit, systematic, and structured multi-sensory lesson plans that address the development of foundational skills necessary for students to become proficient readers.
Addresses the Five Components of Reading
The Orton-Gillingham Multisensory Reading Program addresses the five essential components of reading: phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension – as recommended by the National Reading Panel Report (2000).
Fully Online Format
We offer the Orton-Gillingham Multisensory Reading Program in a fully online format to enable teachers across the country to have full access to this crucial programming.
