Tailoring instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners is difficult enough in face-to-face settings, let alone in the digital world. The recent challenges that accompany oscillating learning environments have shone a spotlight on the varying needs of students, leaving many teachers wondering if it’s possible to move all students forward while attending to their different learning needs.
This series of four interactive workshops led by Kristina Doubet will feature tools—both traditional and digital—that can help teachers engage, support, and challenge diverse learners in a variety of learning settings. Participants will experiment with tools and strategies, study classroom examples, and “meet” with colleagues to discuss how they might engage, support, and challenge every learner to take their next steps.
Session 1: Creating a Collaborative, Supportive, Interactive Learning Environment
