Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Catechist – Non-Exempt – Paid hourly position

10-15 hours per week; approximately 40 to 45 weeks. Fixed hours during the majority of the school year and flexible during break periods.

Work closely with the Coordinator of CGS to offer Christ-centered catechesis using the CGS model.  Provide a safe, welcoming, and prayerful environment for the children to support their faith formation.

The Crescent Family of Parishes is seeking a Director of Music to provide leadership for liturgical music within our parish family. This position offers the opportunity to serve as a principal musician while collaborating with pastoral leadership, staff, and parish musicians to support vibrant, prayerful liturgies.

The Director of Music will serve as the primary musician for two parishes with a long-established shared music program, while also supporting coordination and collaboration across the wider family of parishes. This role values musical excellence, respect for diverse cultural and liturgical musical traditions, and a collaborative approach to ministry.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Serving as principal musician (organist/pianist) for assigned parishes

  • Training, directing, and supervising choirs, cantors, and instrumental ensembles

  • Coordinating music planning for liturgical seasons and combined parish celebrations

  • Supervising staff musicians and coordinating substitute and supply musicians

  • Collaborating with parish staff and worship commissions on music planning

  • Serving, in collaboration with the Liturgy and Worship Coordinator, as a co-leader of the Worship Commission

  • Bringing strong organ and piano skills, with additional instrumental knowledge preferred

Crescent Family of Parishes (S-6) includes Church of the Resurrection (Bond Hill), Holy Trinity (Norwood), Nativity (Pleasant Ridge), St. John the Evangelist (Deer Park), and St. Saviour (Sycamore Township).

This position may be part-time or full-time, depending on experience and availability.

The Athenaeum of Ohio/Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology, a graduate-level school of theology sponsored by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of part-time Spanish instructor, commencing August 2026 (fall semester).

The part-time Spanish instructor will teach two in-person semester courses (basic and intermediate Spanish, a total of four credit hours each semester) to equip seminarians with Spanish language skills and prepare them for Spanish-language ministry immersion experiences and preaching/celebration of the sacraments in Spanish.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in both Spanish and English and be able to instruct students in speaking, reading, and writing the Spanish language. A bachelor’s degree is preferred along with classroom teaching experience at the secondary or post-secondary level. Catholic candidates are preferred.

St. Mary Church in Urbana, OH is seeking a Director of Sacred Music and Organist.  This is a part time position which includes preparing music and playing the organ for three weekend Masses, plus Holy Days.  In addition, candidates will manage and continue to develop adult and children’s choirs.  Compensation is commensurate with experience. Basic Function
The Early Childhood Intervention Specialist provides specially designed instruction to students funded through the Jon Peterson and Autism Scholarships. The ECIS works collaboratively with teachers, families, and service providers to develop objective, measurable goals and determine appropriate accommodations and interventions for students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education
Must hold an Early Childhood Intervention License
Valid Ohio teaching certificate or license
Successful completion of required criminal background checks
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to generate, record, and maintain student data
Ability to administer and interpret standardized assessments
Knowledge of the Ohio Department of Education Model Curriculum and Ohio’s Learning Standards
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of student records and school business

Responsibilities
Demonstrate knowledge of Early Childhood Special Education laws, policies, and regulations
Provide specially designed instruction to assigned students
Collaborate with teachers and service providers to develop individualized, objective, and measurable IEP goals
Determine and support appropriate classroom accommodations and interventions
Complete IEP progress reports for students on assigned caseload
Attend IEP, IAT, and other meetings as required
