Care For Creation

Laudato Si parishes in the aoc

From the Laudato Si conference held in March 2023, we learned that the biggest need in our community is the need for connection and inspiration.

We are working to establish a network of parishes that will enrich itself with their members’ shared experiences, hopes and challenges. It is comforting to learn we are not alone in this pursuit and it is inspiring to see what others – amid the lack of support or resources – are managing to achieve.

This space is created for every single person who wants to learn, connect, be inspired, and grow in their understanding and actions for a more just, enjoyable future.

Let’s use this space to share our big and small wins, resources and questions and remind each other that this is a fight worth fighting for.

I would like to offer Christians a few suggestions for an ecological spirituality grounded in the convictions of our faith, since the teachings of the Gospel have direct consequences for our way of thinking, feeling and living. More than in ideas or concepts as such, I am interested in how such a spirituality can motivate us to a more passionate concern for the protection of our world.
