STEWARDSHIP
Families of Parishes are communities of grateful disciples. Recognizing God’s gifts, they use their talents, skills and resources to build up the Church and live as Christ’s body in the world.
Phase 2 Materials
Step 1: Confirm Vision Assessment is Complete
To prepare for Visio Day, it is beneficial to have an understanding of where your Family of Parishes stands in relation to each of the vision points in the Stewardship principle. Use the Family Vision Assessment Tool to isolate which vision points are strengths and which need attention as part of establishing a comprehensive vision for your Family.

Step 3: Visio Day
How do I know if my Family Leadership Team is ready for Visio Day?
- Your Family Leadership Team is taking shape: most positions are identified and filled; you can identify the 5-8 people who will attend (and they’ll all fit at ONE table!)
- You’re well on your way to completing the Milestones of Phase 1 and have completed the parish inventories and Vision Assessment Tool.
- You are not working with Catholic Leadership Institute’s (CLI) Next Generation Parish process which includes a different visioning process.
- Your pastor is available to participate in the day (the pastor is REQUIRED to attend, and we hope ALL members of the FLT can too!)
