The New K–2 Report Card: Tools, Resources, and Implementation
This session is designed to prepare principals and school leaders to successfully implement the new K–2 Standards-Referenced Report Card option. Participants will receive the report card template along with a comprehensive implementation toolkit to support planning, communication, and professional learning within their schools. The session will explore the purpose and structure of the report card, with a particular focus on the grade-level exiting skills that represent mastery of the priority standards.
Leaders will also be introduced to the extensive collection of resources developed to support implementation, including proficiency scales, instructional planning guides, curriculum maps, common assessments, standards mastery questions, learning standards checklists, and other tools designed for leaders, teachers, and families. By the end of the session, principals will have a clear understanding of how to use these resources to support high-quality instruction, monitor student progress, and ensure students master the essential grade-level expectations before advancing to the next grade.

Building a Data-Informed School: Conducting a School Data & Assessment Audit
Every school collects data—but are you collecting the right data to drive meaningful improvement?
In this interactive session, participants will explore the four essential types of data that support strategic planning and continuous school improvement: demographic, perception, student learning, and school process data. Together, these data sources provide a complete picture of school performance and create the foundation for informed decision-making.
Participants will then conduct a School Data and Assessment Audit to evaluate the information currently being collected within their school. Through guided activities, leaders will identify strengths, uncover gaps, assess the purpose of existing assessments, and determine what additional data may be needed to support instructional decisions, monitor school improvement initiatives, and strengthen their MTSS framework.
