These sessions are designed to provide instructional resources and support that can be immediately implemented by the classroom teacher. This includes simple examples and ideas for instructional support grounded in research and includes effective instructional strategies such as differentiation, grouping and pacing. Participants will learn about the SIOP Model, a teaching framework for English learners, including over 25+ years of sustained research and development studies. Teachers who participate in this professional learning opportunity will be included in a cohort of colleagues in which they can collaborate and share ideas throughout the school year. Cohorts will be limited to the first 30 teachers to register! Registration is FREE to first 30 AOC teachers.
