Preprimary Lead Director/Directress/Full-Time: Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori (GSCM) is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Preprimary team as a lead director/directress for the 2024-25 school year.  This position begins August 1st 2024.  The director/directress will join our preprimary team of teachers, serving three different 3-6 environments.  The environment has a full complement of Montessori materials.  Preschool children attend half day and Kindergarten children attend full days.  An assistant is in the classroom for the morning session.

Montessori: Permanent Sub/Part-Time: The Summit Country Day School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our Montessori team as a permanent Montessori building sub.  As a substitute teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment with 3–6-year-old and toddler students throughout the Montessori morning work cycle (18 months – Kindergarten).  This position is part time, Monday-Friday.  Hours for this position will be 7:45am-11:30am.

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with Montessori teachers in working with individuals and groups of children in the classroom or gross motor space to help maintain student to teacher ratio.
– Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
– Manage classroom behavior and enforce school policies.
– Provide assistance to students as needed.
– Communicate effectively with school staff regarding daily activities and any issues that may arise.

Qualifications:
– Background knowledge of the Montessori philosophy.
– Background Degree preferred, High School Diploma or GED required.
– Previous experience working with young children preferred.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
