The Accounting and Payroll departments are available to assist  Parishes, Schools, Cemeteries, Charities and Pastoral Center offices within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. 

The staff shares knowledge of the Temporal Affairs Document, gives direction with investment options, parish accounting, payroll processing, stock donation and helps with project management.    

Frequently Asked Questions

Are employees required to fill out the new 2020 Form W-4?

Employees who have furnished Form W-4 in any year prior to 2020 are not required to furnish a new form.  Employers will continue to compute withholding based on the information from the employee's most recently furnished Form W-4.

All new employees first paid after 2019 must use the new form. 

Employees that want to change their withholding must use the redesigned form.

How do I make a stock donation?

There are several ways donors can hold and donate securities.  Fifth Third Bank can process donations of Direct Registration (DRS or book entry assets, and mutual funds, along with the typical physical stock certificates and broker to broker transfers or DTC transfers.  Learn more details...

What is the IRS Group Ruling?

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (“USCCB”) is the central organization holding
a group exemption letter for Catholic religious, charitable, and educational organizations in the
United States. The group ruling’s IRS Group Exemption Number, or GEN, is 0928. The USCCB
group ruling establishes that Catholic organizations in the U.S. that are listed in the current
edition of the Official Catholic Directory are recognized as exempt from federal income tax and
described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

What is the mileage rate for reimbursement?

Effective January 1, 2023 the mileage rate for reimbursement is 65.5 cents per mile.
