Parish Stewardship

“Stewardship is an expression of discipleship, with the power to change how we understand and live out our lives.” This simple yet compelling statement from Stewardship: A Disciple’s Response, captures the importance of forming people to grow as good and faithful stewards.

Those who have been touched by this spirituality of stewardship recognize that all we are, have, and will be is pure gift from God. Through that recognition, we grow in gratitude for our many blessings and share our lives and resources as Christ’s people at home, in our parish, city, and world.

Grateful Disciples is a process for establishing and sustaining stewardship as a way of life. The Grateful Disciples workbook, slides, and resources equip leaders to create and implement a year-long plan to bring stewardship to the Family of Parishes.

At its best, faith impacts life. This is the principle behind Impact, a monthly resource to form people as disciples and good stewards who share their gifts and faith, making an impact in their lives and the life of the world. Each month, Impact focuses on themes found in the Sunday readings, connecting Mass with the call to discipleship, growing as good stewards, and sharing faith in daily life. act may be used in your bulletin, on your website, or sent in email blasts to parishioners.
