The first step is to submit the preliminary questionnaire, which can be found on the Volunteer page. After that you will be guided through the process.
The main thing we do is to provide Mass, the Sacraments, and RCIA. We also run many classes and fellowship groups. See the Events and Programs page for more details.
The Prison Ministry Team cares for four state prisons and the Community Correctional Center. Additionally, a team of chaplains cares for the Hamilton County Justice Center. Among the county jails in the Archdiocese there are many volunteers who take spiritual care of the men and women housed in those places. Where is the Lord calling you? Yes. In addition to monetary donations, the prison ministry can receive a number of material donations ranging from books to rosaries and other religious items to Christmas and Easter cards. Go to the Contact Us page and let us know what you would like to donate.
