Director of Temporal Goods

Blessed Sacrament Parish, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky, is seeking a Director of Temporal Goods to assist the Pastor in the stewardship and administration of the parish’s temporal goods in accord with the mission of the Catholic Church and diocesan policy. This position provides oversight and operational leadership for parish finances, facilities, property management, and administrative functions in support of the pastoral mission of the parish. The Director of Temporal Goods collaborates closely with parish staff, diocesan offices, the Parish Pastoral Council, the Parish Finance Council, and outside professionals. St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption Parish invites qualified individuals to apply for the position of Pastoral Associate. The Pastoral Associate fulfills a role integral to the life and effective functioning of the Parish and its ministries, partnering with the Rector of the Cathedral to provide direction for faith formation. Areas of responsibility and/or involvement will include direct pastoral care of parishioners; adult faith formation; Order of Christian Initiation of Adults; children’s religious education; pastoral planning; and diocesan Safe Environment requirements. Preference will be given to candidates at least an undergraduate degree in pastoral ministry, religious education, theology, or a closely related field. Other requirements include spiritual maturity, defined in part as an actively practicing Roman Catholic who is in good standing with the Church, regularly receives the sacraments, and is faithful to the magisterium and Church teaching; good facilitating, consulting, and leadership skills; and previous experience in paid or volunteer parish ministry.

This role supervises the Donor Engagement Specialist and collaborates closely with the Communications & Marketing Specialist to ensure donor‑focused messaging and effective appeal support. Other key responsibilities will include annual giving and fundraising operations; events and community engagement; and donor database and reporting. This role is ideal for a relationship‑driven professional who excels at community engagement, communication, and building strong partnerships. You will oversee the full volunteer lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding, to training, scheduling, recognition, and retention—while cultivating a positive, mission‑centered volunteer culture. Key responsibilities include lead recruitment, screening, onboarding, and retention efforts for 700 volunteers. Other responsibilities include training, supervising, scheduling, evaluating, and other general managerial duties.  We are looking for an individual with a degree in human services, business, or a related field, and some previous experience. The Catholic Diocese of Covington is seeking a full-time Development and Planning Coordinator within the Office of Stewardship and Mission Services. The Coordinator’s role for the first six-to-eight months will be focused on assisting with the development of a new ministry: specifically, providing support for Bishop John Iffert’s strategic planning initiatives and implementing a comprehensive fund development program, leading into a full-time Development Coordinator role. This position combines administrative coordination with stewardship efforts to advance the Diocese’s mission.
