The Registered Ultrasound Technician is responsible for furthering our mission to provide education on positive alternatives to abortion by performing limited OB ultrasound scans on our abortion vulnerable, abortion minded, and abortion determined clients.

General Duties

Perform limited OB ultrasound scans on walk-in clients in order to:
— Confirm intrauterine pregnancy
— Estimate gestational age
— Confirm fetal cardiac activity

*Explains the ultrasound procedure in simple terms to clients and answers any medical questions pertinent to the procedure that they may have.
*Maintains ultrasound equipment and supplies and cleans room and supplies as needed.
* Presents images and preliminary findings to client, as well as signing physician, via Ekyros (client database).
* Maintains client records and medical notes related to the ultrasound procedure in eKyros and client’s paper file. Makes appropriate follow-up phone calls to clients related to the ultrasound procedure.
* Offers pro-life encouragement when deemed appropriate within the ultrasound room, rooted in medical knowledge and Christian truth.
* Works closely with the Executive Director to maintain and create best policies and procedures in regards to the ultrasound services.

The Jesuit Spiritual Center, a Catholic retreat center, in Milford, Ohio seeks college graduates interested in pursuing ministry as part of the Ignite Missionary Program. This is a 1 – 2 year paid program working as a member of the Youth Ministry team. Missionaries live in an intentional faith community on the grounds of the Center in the renovated historic Rock House and receive health care, meals, and a personal stipend. They will develop skills in retreat ministry including planning, preparing, and facilitating youth retreats, leading small and large group activities. Missionaries will also have the opportunity to make the 19th Annotation of the Spiritual Exercises, receive spiritual formation, attend professional conferences, receive private music lessons, and gain non-profit leadership and business experience.

The Jesuit Spiritual Center at Milford seeks an Associate Director of Adult Ministry to assist the Director with the preparation and implementation of all facets of adult retreats with a focus on women’s ministry. An applicant must have training and experience in Ignatian Spirituality, based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola. Responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the adult ministry program; planning, preparing, staffing, and facilitating retreats and programs; and working collaboratively with retreat directors, spiritual directors, pastoral associates, and parish ministers. The applicant must excel in group facilitation and communication skills. This position does require evening and weekend work. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.

The Music Minister at Catholic Campus Ministry, Wright State University (WSU), is responsible for providing liturgically-appropriate music for Masses and prayer services on Sundays and Wednesday evenings, as well as other occasions.  This individual is also responsible for recruiting student music ministers/cantors and leading their rehearsals.  The Music Minister is an integral part of the campus ministry team whose work responds to Jesus’ call to proclaim the Gospel and make disciples.

The Franciscan Sisters of the Poor is seeking an experienced Administrator to oversee the operations of the St. Clare Campus in Cincinnati. St. Clare Convent is home to approximately 25 Sisters. A staff of nurses and nursing assistants are directly employed by the Sisters to provide 24/7 nursing oversight and care for those who require it. Dining, housekeeping and other assistance is provided by in-house staff. The Sisters’ convent is a private residence, not a licensed care facility.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Care administration, Gerontology or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience as an Administrator in a residential setting for older adults
  • Ohio Nursing Home Administrator License preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a non-profit organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare or religious organization strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Catholic Church structures and teaching preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet

Responsibilities include:

  • Provides oversight of all services offered to the sisters and oversight of business aspects of the convent, including property management for the campus.
  • Collaborates with managers, local ministers and finance in providing input for departmental and capital budgets.
  • Collaborates with the Nurse Care Manager and Health Nurse to ensure the provision of quality care.
  • Coordinates, directs and supervises the quality and effectiveness of services including healthcare delivery, support services, sisters services, dining, housekeeping and facilities.
  • Collaborates with managers and HR to ensure appropriate staffing levels and employee relations issues as needed.
  • Represents SFP and campus, serving as primary contact for community/public needs or concerns.

St. Patrick – St. Anthony Parish in beautiful Grand Haven Michigan is searching for a Coordinator of Faith Formation for kindergarten through sixth grade. Our religious faith formation program serves the parish’s children and incorporates levels one and two of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for our youngest students. The position includes sacramental formation for 1st Reconciliation and 1st Eucharist. We are looking to increase family faith formation opportunities for children and parents.
