Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology seeks an energetic and experienced Director of the Annual Fund.  The Director manages and executes all annual giving activities including the design and implementation of a multi-channel appeal strategy, determines targeted segmentation and analyzes results to enhance revenue for unrestricted giving while also expanding the donor base.

Specifically, the Director of the Annual Fund will:

  • Create, implement and evaluate a comprehensive, multi-year plan to increase both dollars and donors in support of the MTSM Annual Fund to meet annual revenue goals and strengthen giving
  • Determine and execute segmentation strategies to maximize response rates and revenue
  • Ensure the Bishop Fenwick Society members ($1,000 and above) are solicited personally by staff and volunteers, where appropriate
  • Monitor and evaluate results
  • Work in collaboration with the Vice President for Development & Relations and other members of the Advancement Office

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of measurable, relevant experience in annual giving or a similar field
  • Proven success in face-to-face solicitation
  • Proven management of giving programs
  • Excellent writing and data analysis skills
  • Commitment to the mission and message of the Catholic Church
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Mount St. Mary’s Seminary and School of Theology is the center for ecclesial formation sponsored by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, and forms men and women to faithfully follow Christ and serve His mission by fulfilling their vocations in the Church.  MTSM is a growing, vibrant organization with nearly 90 seminarians from seven different dioceses and religious orders and many more men and women working towards graduate degrees and certificates.

Saint Joseph Catholic Church (www.stjosephcrescent.com) in Crescent Springs is seeking talented keyboard musicians interested in the position of Music Director. The successful candidate will be proficient on the piano and/or organ, knowledgeable about the Catholic liturgy and sacred music, and capable of leading congregational singing/chant and of training and leading a choir. Must be available to lead three masses each weekend: 5 pm Saturday, and 9 am and 11 am Sunday, plus availability to lead on major religious feasts and holidays. This is a competitively-paying part-time position.

Campus Ministry’s liturgy team reflects sacramental celebrations that promote full active participation, strong student leadership in liturgical ministries, a commitment to growth in multicultural expressions of prayer and worship reflective of the diversity of the UD community, and pastorally responding to the needs of the campus through prayer and worship.

The assistant director will:

  • Collaborate with the liturgy team to establish a vision for and ensure the development and successful implementation of university liturgies, liturgical catechesis, liturgical ministry formation, and sacramental preparation.
  • Supervise a graduate assistant and advises Catholic Life, a faith-based student organization.
  • Respond to special liturgical/prayer requests, ensures the development of diverse cultural expressions of prayer and worship, supports the faith development of students, and communicates about liturgical events.
  • Serve as an active collaborator on the 34-person ministry team.

This is a 10.5 month, full-time, exempt position with full benefits.  Flexible start in early 2022.  Salary commensurate with experience.

McAuley Convent is the retirement home for 32 Sisters of Mercy in the Cincinnati area.  Currently the convent has a job opening for a General Maintenance Worker. Responsibilities include general maintenance and yard work; some knowledge of electrical and plumbing and painting. Schedule is Monday through Friday, shifts will vary.

This position will be responsible for preparing food according to the menu, see these skillet tips and seeing that it is served in an attractive manner while keeping the workspaces sanitary. Days and shifts may vary.
