Old St. Mary’s and Sacred Heart Churches are seeking a full-time Parish Secretary.  The successful candidate for this role will be a practicing Catholic or have excellent knowledge of the Catholic faith. Candidates must be highly organized, proactive and able to handle sensitive information discreetly. Duties include, but are not limited, answering phones, assisting with parishioner and staff needs, maintaining databases, creating Sunday bulletins and monthly newsletters, updating sacramental records, and assisting with other general office responsibilities. Previous experience in an office setting is required.

The Family of Parishes currently known as Our Lady of Guadalupe Family of Parishes is seeking a Director of Evangelization and Catechesis. This person is responsible for supervising and managing the Evangelization and Catechesis Team. This person must be able, under the authority of the Pastor, to articulate and implement the priorities and goals written within the Pastoral Plan of Our Lady of Guadalupe Family of Parishes.

Candidate must be bilingual, with a Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry, Religious Studies, Theology, Religious Education, or related field, or commensurate ministry experience. Must have spiritual maturity, defined as a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church who is faithful to the teachings of the Magisterium. Must have a broad understanding of and ability to articulate Church teaching regarding evangelization, catechesis, prayer, sacraments, and ecclesiology.

The Coordinator of Youth Ministry (CYM) provides vision and coordination for all efforts in ministering to young people from 6th through 12th grades across the St. Gregory the Great Family of Parishes. This includes weekly sessions, monthly activities, catechetical events, as well as organizing and carrying out a summer program. The CYM will coordinate activities as appropriate and as directed by the Associate Director of Youth Evangelization.

The Coordinator of Junior High School Youth Ministry reports to the Director of Evangelization and is a key member of the Evangelization Team. The Coordinator has responsibility for all efforts of accompanying youth, grades 6-8, (and their families) through the Process of Evangelization and Discipleship, so that youth encounter Christ, are known, seen, and loved, and become missionary disciples.
