The Archdiocese of Cincinnati is actively seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Superintendent of Catholic Schools/Director of Educational Services. The Director works with the Archbishop and other Department Directors planning for and administering to the Archdiocese; supervises, coordinates, and develops programs, policies, and services for the Department of Educational Services. The Director advises the Archbishop on policy matters pertaining to the department and serves as the liaison to the broader community in Catholic education in the Archdiocese. The Director of the Department of Educational Services also serves as the Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese. As Superintendent, the Director leads the Catholic Schools Office in providing leadership, support, and oversight of the Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese. Must have a strong commitment to Catholic education; be visionary and forward thinking. Must possess at least a master’s degree in educational administration (doctorate preferred); at least five years’ experience in Catholic school administration and management, preferably as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent; must be a practicing Catholic in communion with the Church. Must be able to obtain certification/licensure as a superintendent in the State of Ohio; be knowledgeable of local, state, and federal regulations; have experience with budget and fiscal planning, marketing and strategic enrollment management, donor relations, communication, educational best practices, and current opportunities and challenges impacting Catholic schools in Cincinnati. He/she must be knowledgeable of the State of Ohio’s unique relationship with non-public schools.

St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish is seeking candidates to apply for the position of COORDINATOR OF YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY.   

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position, under the supervision of the Pastoral Associate for Evangelization and Catechesis.  The Coordinator of Youth and Young Adult Ministry aims to attract youth and young adults to a life-giving encounter with Jesus through personal witness, effective teaching, community building, and discipleship-making.  The coordinator will demonstrate a thorough understanding of John Paul II’s Theology of the Body, and be able to transmit it and the Church’s teachings in a way that is both richly informative and deeply transformative. 

Duties include, but not limited to:

· Recruit, train and mentor youth and young adult leaders, as well as core team volunteers, to implement the eight components of youth ministry as found in Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry, USCCB, 1997
· Schedule, plan and lead weekly and seasonal youth and young adult events throughout the year
· Create, guide, and/or lead youth and young adult retreats
· Organize trips to local, diocesan, national and international youth and young adult events
· Submits, manages, and maintains a budget for youth and young adult ministry
· All other things deemed necessary by the pastor

Preferred Qualifications:

· Active member of a Catholic Parish
· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry, Religious Studies, Theology, Religious Education, or related field
· Certificate in Youth Ministry from a diocese or National Association of Catholic Youth Ministry Leaders
· Previous, relevant experience

The Program Coordinator supports the Director and other staff in executing programs, events, communications, and other initiatives to support pastors and parish leaders in building healthy and growing parishes. In support of the areas of pastoral planning, strategic planning, worship, and sacraments, and/or leadership formation, the Program Coordinator implements the vision of the Center for Parish Vitality.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership, project management, communications, infomatics, or related degree or equivalent; experience as a parish staffer or committed volunteer is preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills required. Must have strong organizational and project management skills. Familiarity with software such as Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, Active Campaign, and other modern digital platforms is important. Demonstrated fluency with web development software like WordPress is preferred. Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
