Gate of Heaven Cemetery is the only Archdiocese of Cincinnati owned cemetery in the greater Cincinnati area. The ancient ministry of the Catholic cemetery reflects the Christian recognition of the sacredness of the body as the temple of the Holy Spirit on Earth. Our ministry seeks to serve the people whom God has entrusted to our care.

This position is an integral part of our mission to serve our Archdiocese community far into the future or until the Lord comes again in glory. The NW-2 Family of Parishes including St Patrick – Glynwood, St Teresa – Rockford, Our Lady of Guadalupe- Montezuma, Holy Rosary-St Marys, Immaculate Conception-Celina, is seeking a Director of Evangelization. The Director of Evangelization is responsible for supervising and managing the Evangelization and Faith Formation Teams at NW-2 Family of Parishes. The Evangelization and Faith Formation Teams includes Coordinators and Youth Ministers for Youth (K-5), Youth (6-12), Adult Evangelization, and Marriage and Family Evangelization. The Evangelization and Faith Formation Teams are responsible for all efforts of accompanying youth, adults, and families through the Process of Evangelization so that the parish is creating missionary disciples.  The Director of Evangelization must be able to articulate and implement a clear vision/mission for Evangelization to parents, youth, staff, and parishioners.

Strongly prefer a Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry, Religious Studies, Theology, Religious Education, or related field, or commensurate ministry experience. Must have spiritual maturity, defined as a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church who is faithful to the Magisterium, consistent in one’s prayer life, regularly receiving the sacraments, and able to speak of one’s relationship with Jesus. Must have a broad understanding of and ability to articulate Church teaching regarding evangelization, catechesis, prayer, sacraments, and ecclesiology. Must have experience mentoring and accompanying adults at different stages of the discipleship path. Must be able to pray in front of and with others, to lead and participate in spontaneous prayer. Must be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people using the spoken word, both within one-on-one coaching/mentoring situations and in large group settings. The Jesuit Spiritual Center at Milford seeks an Associate Director of Youth Ministry to assist the Director with the preparation and implementation of all facets of youth retreats. Responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the youth ministry program; planning, preparing, staffing and facilitating retreats and programs; and working collaboratively with campus ministers, teachers, pastoral associates and principals. Must excel in large group facilitation and communication. This position does require evening and weekend work. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education. The Jesuit Spiritual Center, a Catholic retreat center, in Milford, Ohio seeks post-graduate students interested in pursuing ministry. This is a 1–2 year paid internship working as a member of the Youth Ministry team.

Interns live in community on the grounds of the Center in the renovated historic Rock House. They will develop skills in retreat ministry including planning, preparing, and facilitating youth retreats, leading small and large group activities.

Interns will also have the opportunity to make the 19th Annotation of the Spiritual Exercises, receive spiritual formation, attend professional conferences, and gain business experience, particularly in the operations of a non-profit organization.
